Give It Away Ministry

Our adult choir learned this song a while back and it is what sparked the "Give it Away" ministry. Though our main place of ministry as a choir is within the church walls during worship services and concerts I wanted us to have a way to break out to the community around us. So I brought this idea to the choir and they loved it.

What is this ministry? It's a way for us to minister through service to the community through simple chores/deeds. Individuals with needs (yard mowing, shutters painted, door fixed, dog walked, etc) are nominated by church members or others; or individuals request assistance for themselves. The needs are presented to the choir and members of the Voices of Praise help out when and however they can, free of charge.

IMPORTANT: Please do not make requests for someone needing immediate assistance or financial help as these nominations are only handled as choir members become available and there may be a short length of time before we can get to them.
